Psalms 11

The Lord a Refuge and Defense.

For the choir director. A Psalm of David.

1 In the Lord I atake refuge;
How can you say to my soul, “Flee as a bird to your bmountain;
2For, behold, the wicked cbend the bow,
They
Or fixed
,
emake ready their arrow upon the string
To fshoot in darkness at the upright in heart.
3If the gfoundations are destroyed,
What can the righteous do?”

4The Lord is in His hholy temple; the
Lit Lord , His throne
Lord’s jthrone is in heaven;
His keyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men.
5The Lord ltests the righteous and mthe wicked,
And the one who loves violence His soul hates.
6Upon the wicked He will nrain
Or coals of fire
snares;
pFire and brimstone and qburning wind will be the portion of rtheir cup.
7For the Lord is srighteous, tHe loves
Or righteous deeds
righteousness;
The upright will vbehold His face.
